The pharmacy has the efficient infrastructure, which has Medicines, Vaccines, Food and Supplements for newborns, Hygiene products available and the Matria Pharmacy is open 24/7 for internal and external purposes. And this outlet is managed by our qualified professionals with a diploma or degree from Dept. of Pharmacy

LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS

Blood Laboratory Lab. The lab has modern Technology to do the blood test which includes all the samples required to take care of the mother during all the trimesters.

The lab unit will be cared by many specialized and qualified people. The team attending to the expected mother and the mothers includes:

Phlebotomist: Registered and specially trained
The phlebotomist will draw blood samples from the Guest.
Technician: Registered and Specially trained Technician who will run the blood sample collected on automated machines and generates reports.
Pathologist: The medically qualified and registered pathologist from the Indian Medical Council with at least 4 years of experience. He will analyze and generate the lab reports which will assist the Ob – Gyns to prescribe the medication to the mother-to-be or to the mother.
Bio–Chemist: He will be a medically qualified and registered biochemist who has undergone special training in genetic testing.

OBSTETRICAL ULTRASOUND UNIT

We have an Obstetrical Ultrasound Unit which is real time ultrasound imaging system. This machine is primarily used in analyzing fetal development. The ultrasound examination works by directing sound waves of very high pitch at the tissues in your abdominal areas. The sound waves are visually translated into a pattern of light and dark area. The waves create an image of the baby on a monitor. The equipment is manned by a qualified Radiologist/ Sonologist who are specially trained in doing the pregnancy screening. He/she will be able to study the gestational age of the baby or developing relationship between the body and the baby. The test may last for about 20 minutes. The equipment is also capable of detecting abnormality and the high risk pregnancy and the doctor can view the baby’s heart beat, baby’s head to spine development and can also detect defect in the neural tube.

During the time of the procedure, the mother can view the movement of the baby through the separate monitors placed in front.

Hi-Tech Operation Theatre

HI-TECH OPERATION THEATRE (LAMINAR FLOW)

Custom-built Modern Laminar airflow system to control and maintain positive pressure and humidity control throughout the surgery using multilevel HEPA filters. Scientifically constructed to give 150 feet per minute air velocity with Vertical laminarity and without air turbulence, the system allows 75 air exchanges per hour in the operation theatre. The internal positive pressure within the operation theatre above atmospheric pressure prevents external air contamination. Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-static operation theatre floor and walls, fully electronic remote-controlled OT table with independently mounted LED lights for illumination.
